About the American Board of Animal Acupuncture (ABAA)
Setting the Standard for Animal Acupuncture Certification
Established as a non-profit in 2013, the American Board of Animal Acupuncture (ABAA) is the national certifying body for licensed acupuncturists who wish to demonstrate their qualifications to safely and effectively treat animals using acupuncture and TCM principles.
ABAA certification is a mark of professional excellence, integrity, and public accountability. By establishing uniform standards of training and practice, the ABAA goal is to protect animal welfare and promote public trust in the growing field of animal acupuncture.
